35th Anniversary Gala Dinner raises £14,000 for Hospice

Gala dinner-89

On Friday 18th October we celebrated our 35th anniversary by hosting a Gala Dinner at Notley Abbey. With 100 guests, a three-course dinner, auction, raffle, silent auction and live music, it was a night full of laughter and great fun.

The night raised £14,000 for the Hospice FNH@Home service which cares for patients in their last weeks at home. We couldn’t be more thankful to all those who supported us.

Charity Chief Executive Jo Turner made a presentation to Dr Helen Pegrum, Consultant in Palliative Care for her 25 years of service to the Hospice.

The Dinner was attended by nursing and medical staff, volunteers, supporters and Charity staff who enjoyed the celebration and danced to the early hours.

Thank you to everyone who supported the event, including those who donated prizes. Last year’s mayor of Aylesbury Steve Lambert hosted the auction and Bucks Radio’s Nathan Cooper was MC.

One of our guests said “I must say, I have been very fortunate to have attended every ball/dinner for FNHC. The gala/dinner on Friday was the best one I have ever been to. The venue, staff, food and overall atmosphere was superb.”
