We have had a charity shop on Church Road in Chinnor for over 15 years and are greatly supported by our local community. We are stocked with a great range of ladies and men’s fashions plus toys, DVDs, CDs and books.
100% of profits from this shop go directly to Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, providing hospice care across Buckinghamshire and its borders.
Declutter your wardrobe or your home and donate your preloved goods to help us continue to support local patients and their families. Don’t forget to Gift Aid if you can, to boost the value of your donation by 25%.
We will happily take donations through the shop or through the back (accessed via Hale Street) during our opening hours. Please do not leave donations outside any of our shops when they are closed.
We can also raise money for the Hospice by recycling clothing and textiles that cannot be resold. It is helpful if you are able to label bags as ‘RAGS’ to save time in sorting.

Volunteers play such an important part in helping make our shops successful. Volunteering in a Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity shop will not only provide you with excellent experience in retail and customer service, but is also a hugely rewarding way to meet new people and make a huge difference to people in your local area.
Come and join our friendly Chinnor volunteers team – there are roles to suit everyone from sorting donations, keeping the shelves stocked, to running the tills.
So if you can spare just a few hours a week, then we’d love to welcome you to our team.
Simply pop into the shop and speak to the manager or complete our short application form to register your interest.
