Tickets are now on sale for the eagerly-awaited production of Annie presented by Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, which hits the big stage at Wycombe Swan Theatre on Saturday 2nd  November 2024. This is both a matinee and evening performance, involving over 100 local children.

Annie warms the hearts of the audience as she rises from next to nothing in New York City. She is determined to find her parents, who left her at the orphanage years ago. Though things don’t quite work out the way she planned, she manages to thwart the plans of the evil Miss Hannigan and find a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Annie is the perfect family-friendly musical with a host of well-known songs.

Sponsored by many local businesses and supported by media partner Wycombe Sound, the project aims to bring the local community together for an amateur performance that raises vital funds for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.

Amy Quinlan, Senior Fundraiser for Special Events and Projects for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, who is directing the project said:

“All of our young performers are full of talent and enthusiasm and raring to hit the stage. We’re so proud to be bringing the local community together and raising money for the Hospice at the same time. We expect Annie to be a sell-out show and tickets are limited so book yours today to avoid disappointment.”

This is our second amateur performance at Wycombe Swan Theatre with our previous production of Nativity! The Musical successfully raising much-needed funds for the Hospice and bringing the community together. Florence Nightingale Hospice cares for patients and families across Buckinghamshire including High Wycombe.

Our most recent production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in August at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre raised £50,000 for local hospice care.
