Please carefully read and fully understand the terms and conditions set out below before registering for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

If you take part in a project run by the Florence Nightingale On Stage you agree to the following terms and conditions. This information will be sent to you if your child is offered a place on the project.

  1. Definitions:

1.1. “FNHC” means Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, a charitable company limited by guarantee.
1.2. “Participant” means the person who will take part in the Project.
1.3. “Parent”/”Carer” means the person(s) who have signed the Acceptance Form on behalf of the Participant if they are under 18 years of age and agree to pay the Project fee.
1.4. “Project”/”The Project” means one of the theatre workshops run by FNHC.
1.5. “Project Fee” means the fee payable for participation in the Project.
1.6. “The Parties” means the parties to this agreement being FNHC and the Participant and/or the Parents/Carer of the Participant.
Legal Contract: The offer of a place on The Project and its acceptance by the Participant/Parents/Carer project give rise to a legally binding contract on the terms of these terms and conditions.

  1. Conduct and Attendance: FNHC expect Participants to behave in a safe and responsible manner, to be courteous to staff and peers and to respect the needs of others. Participants will attend each day of the Project that they are called for, be punctual and take a full part in each day’s activities.
  2. Insurance: FNHC undertakes to maintain only those types of insurance required by law. If required, the Participant/Parents are responsible for obtaining personal insurance cover for the duration of the Project.
  3. Payment of Project Fee: The Participant or Parents undertake to pay the total Project Fee by the deadline stated in the welcome pack sent out to all participants following successful audition. Payment should be by BACS. If you cannot pay by this method, please contact  onstage@fnhospice.org.uk
  4. Physical fitness. The Project involves an element of physical exertion. You must be satisfied that your child/ children are sufficiently healthy, fit and well prepared to take this on
  5. Medical or other factors regarding participants: If accepted onto the project, participants/parents/carers must disclose in confidence all relevant information about any medical condition, health problem, or allergy which affects the participant. Failure to do this may result, as a last resort, in the participant losing his/her place on a project or being sent home.
  6. Participant Cancellation: If a Participant withdraws from a Project, FNHC will follow the following cancellation policy:
    Audition Cancellation: FNHC do not offer any refund for audition donations.

Project Cancellation Charges: If a Participant cancels their accepted place FNHC may be able to offer a partial refund of the £165 project fee. This will be calculated on a case-by-case basis.

If FNHC must cancel at any time they will be able to offer a partial refund of the £165 performance fee to child participants only on a pro-rata basis as follows:

  • FNHC cancels before rehearsals start: 100% REFUND (£165)
  • FNHC cancels after one rehearsal session: 80% refund (£132)
  • FNHC cancels after two rehearsal sessions: 40% refund (£66)
  • FNHC cancels after three rehearsal sessions: 40% refund (£66)
  • FNHC cancels after four rehearsal sessions: 20% refund (£33)
  • FNHC cancels after five or more rehearsal sessions: No refund.
  1. FNHC Cancellation: FNHC reserves the right to cancel the Project in any circumstances. However, FNHC would not do this without good cause and in the event of cancellation all monies paid by or on behalf of Participants would be refunded in full. FNHC also reserves the right to terminate this agreement with individual Participants for unpaid Fees and serious breaches of Project rules.
  2. Filming & photography: The Project will be filmed and photographed for archival and marketing purposes. Any photos taken by or submitted to FNHC may be used by FNHC for promotional/fundraising activities. If you do not agree to your child being photographed, please email onstage@fnhospice.org.uk.
  3. Personal Data: The data we collect from you will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy which can be found here. The data we collect about your children will only be used for This Project and they will not be contacted by the FNHC for any other reason
