Collection Tub Community Volunteer

Location: Flexible (homebased with travel to surrounding area).
Hours: Flexible.
Age: 18+
Requirements:Driving licence and access to own vehicle

The money raised by our collection tubs plays a key role being able to provide the dedicated hospice care that makes a real difference to local patients. Our tubs make it easy for any business, big or small, to support the work that we do.

However, we wouldn’t be able to offer tubs all over Buckinghamshire and its borders without a team of Collection Tub volunteers.

What will I be doing?

You will primarily be responsible for the installation and collection of our green collection tubs from locations in your local area.  We would also appreciate your support in promoting the charity through distribution of our marketing materials to selected locations in your area from time to time.

You may be involved in the following activities:

  • Distributing, collecting and installing new Green Collection Tubs within your area to agreed locations
  • Distributing posters, fliers and marketing materials to selected organisations within your area.
  • Calls and visits to retail and office locations on a three or six monthly basis
  • Being our eyes and ears in your area to feedback updates and news to Head Office to help us to support and maximise local fundraising and volunteer opportunities

All volunteers are given support and training as necessary to ensure you are happy and confident in your role

This role is perfect if you can’t commit to regular hours, you can volunteer at times that suit you and for as many or as few hours as you choose.
