Room 15 at the Hospice has recently had a beautiful makeover, thanks to our staff, volunteers and the local community for making this happen.
Room 15 offers a living space with an adjoining bedroom containing one of our new cuddle beds. The room allows a little more space, and an additional place for family and friends to stay when spending precious time with their loved one. We hope you agree that the room looks wonderful!
We would like to express our thanks and gratitude to Inpatient Unit Nurse Catherine Calder and Volunteer Rosemary Higgs for coming up with the vision for the room.
We’d also like to thank the villagers of Little Missenden for raising over £5,000 to redecorate and purchase new furniture and furnishings for the room.
Thank you also to Heather Breed Upholstery for upholstering the chairs and Su Chases Interiors for providing the curtains and blinds.
Finally, a big thank you to Swyft Home for gifting us the sofa bed and arrange a one-off manufacture through their factory so that we would have it in time for Christmas. They have also offered a lifetime guarantee for its replacement.
