Furnish your house on a budget with Florence

You’ve sorted the mortgage, perhaps with a help to buy or shared ownership deal, you’ve got the keys and you’ve moved into your new home. Now you’re ready to furnish it. If budget is limited because you’ve just put all your savings towards your deposit, your best bet is to see what bargains you can pick up at the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) Furniture Showroom in Aylesbury.

To demonstrate how much you can do with your budget by shopping at the Furniture Showroom, the FNHC Retail Team were given use of an unoccupied property courtesy of Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust whose employees support FNHC as their charity of the year. We furnished the sitting room, study, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom for under £3,000. All with furniture and accessories from the Furniture Showroom.

The furnished house was then scanned by 360 Scan (new window link http://www.360-scan.co.uk/) to give a Virtual Tour experience, enabling the viewer to walk through each room. The incredible Virtual Tour they created is available on the Charity’s website and Facebook page, complete with price tags on the items in each room, and revealing a beautiful bedroom (pictured) furnished with a brand new Hypnos headboard for £199 and a double bed and mattress for £150.
