Following the outstanding success of Nativity! The Musical at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre last year, Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity is once again bringing Nativity! The Musical to the big stage, this time at Wycombe Swan Theatre in High Wycombe.

Parents can now register their children to take part in open auditions, which will take place on Wednesday 3rd May (6yrs – 15 yrs) and Saturday 6th May (6yrs+) at Wycombe Old Town Hall. No previous experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a love for singing, dancing and acting. We are expecting demand to be high for this, so we are encouraging parents to act fast to not miss out on an audition place.

Amy Quinlan, Senior Fundraiser for Special Projects and Events at Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, said “I am so proud to direct our OnStage productions and be part of something amazing by raising vital funds for local hospice care”.

“Our first show in Aylesbury last year exceeded all my expectations, we performed in front of a sell-out crowd and the dedication and commitment of all our performers, the local community, supporters, and sponsors was incredible! I am so excited to now expand this project and bring it to High Wycombe and look forward to seeing the talent on offer from the local community”.

Aimed at bringing local communities together while raising vital funds for our charity, Nativity! The Musical will see over 100 eager youngsters spend a week rehearsing with experienced theatre professionals, culminating in a performance on Wycombe Swan Theatre’s main stage.

All money from this community project will go directly to Florence Nightingale Hospice which is dedicated to providing the best hospice care for everyone who needs it across Buckinghamshire and its borders, wherever and whenever they need it.
