The Wiz lead, Madison opening Chilfest this weekend

We are delighted to introduce you to Madison, who will be playing the lead of ‘Dorothy’ in our community production of The Wiz, at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre in August. Madison ‘wowed’ us at her audition when she sang “Home” so beautifully.

This will be Madison’s first lead role on stage, she started musical theatre when she was ten to help alleviate her anxiety and this has helped her so much. Musical theatre has become her whole life and she puts so much passion into it. Madison will be starting a Level 3 Course in Musical Theatre at College in September, with a view to move into Arts Education afterwards.

Madison will be performing at the popular local festival Chilfest, in Tring on Saturday 8^th July to help raise awareness of The Wiz, Madison told us “I am so thrilled to be given this fantastic opportunity, to perform at such a retro festival. I am very much looking forward to being involved in this year’s line up!”.
